Pre-Orders & Made-to-Order
WHAT IS A PRE-ORDER?
A pre-order is an item that is currently in production and has not yet arrived at the warehouse, or an existing item that has sold out and is awaiting restock. By placing a pre-order, you can secure your desired style or size in advance, helping you avoid missing out on popular, limited-edition or high-demand pieces.
WHAT IS A MADE-TO-ORDER ITEM?
A Made-to-Order item is a piece that is specially produced after your order has been placed, rather than being held as ready-to-ship stock. Made-to-Order allows you to secure selected styles and sizes that may not currently be available in stock. Once your order is confirmed, our designer or manufacturer begins production.
As each piece is produced specifically for your order, production times may vary depending on manufacturing capacity and material availability.
If you require your dress for a specific event or date, we recommend contacting us before placing your order so we can confirm current production availability and provide the most up-to-date estimated timeframe.

HOW LONG WILL PRE-ORDER & MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS TAKE?
Waiting and production times vary depending on the item.
Pre-Order: The estimated waiting time is generally 15–20 working days, depending on the production or restock schedule.
Made-to-Order: Production generally takes approximately 15–20 working days from order confirmation, plus processing and delivery time.
Once your item is ready, we will prepare your order for dispatch. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.
Orders are not dispatched on weekends or public holidays.
Please note that production and waiting periods are separate from shipping/transit times.
If your order contains both ready-to-ship and Pre-Order or Made-to-Order items, your items may be dispatched separately.
If you have an upcoming special event, we recommend placing your order approximately 4–6 weeks before your occasion to allow sufficient time for production, processing and delivery.
If you have a specific deadline, please contact us via our contact form or at info@marablak.com. before placing your order, so we can check current availability and estimated production times.
DELAYS
Production and availability timeframes are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. The manufacturing process involves several production, sourcing, quality-control and processing stages, and occasional delays may occur.
If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will contact you as soon as possible.
AVAILABILITY
Pre-Order and Made-to-Order items are subject to production capacity and the availability of materials.
While we make every effort to fulfil all orders, availability cannot always be guaranteed. Production schedules, manufacturing capacity, fabric, embellishment, colour or other material shortages may occasionally affect whether an item can be produced. In the unlikely event that your ordered item cannot be produced or supplied, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the available options.

CAN I CANCEL A PRE-ORDER OR MADE-TO-ORDER ITEM?
Pre-Order and Made-to-Order items may be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase.
If you wish to request a cancellation after 48 hours, please contact us at info@marablak.com as soon as possible.
Once production, sourcing, or processing has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled, refunded or exchanged before delivery.
Approved cancellations after 48 hours may be issued as store credit only, valid for 12 months, at Mara Blak's discretion.
Upon delivery, Pre-Order and Made-to-Order items are subject to Mara Blak's Returns Policy. Eligible change-of-mind returns may be accepted for store credit only, provided the item meets all requirements of our current Returns Policy. No refunds are provided for change-of-mind returns.

CAN I CHANGE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS?
If you need to change your shipping address, please contact us at info@marablak.com or via our contact form.
We may be able to update your shipping details provided your order has not yet been dispatched.
Once your order has been shipped, we cannot guarantee that the delivery address can be changed. Please ensure that your shipping information is complete and correct when placing your order.
